It’s the season of giving thanks, and this year we want to honor that by Paying It Forward. We are partnering up with Project Open Paw to raise funds and collect donations for the unhoused good boys and girls of San Francisco. This pack walk will take place on Sunday, November 16, in Golden Gate Park and meet at 10am. The route is mostly flat with a slight grade and friendly for most mobility levels (more details below).
100% of proceeds from this pack walk are being donated to help support Project Open Paw. The minimum suggested donation is $10, but donate $15 and receive a pack walk goodie bag which includes sample treats from some of our favorite friends like Pezzy Pets and Snaggletooth Pets, and a sample-sized JAK + PHIL Healthy Hands Paw Butter along with valuable discounts from local pet businesses like Cocoa & Onyx, Spot & Knot, Woofgang Shop, and Furry Faces CBD! Donate $20 and you’ll also receive a gorgeous reversible tie-on bandana (the first of it’s kind collaboration between JAK + PHIL and Le Pawdrobe) in addition to the previously mentioned goodies. All participants who are officially signed up for the pack walk will receive a commemorative vinyl sticker to remember the day by!
Project Open Paw is also in need of food and supplies and we encourage participants to donate any of the following items if they are able to (physical donations can be made on the day of the pack walk.):
Dry and/or wet dog and cat food (unopened and unexpired)
Dog and/or cat treats (unopened and unexpired)
Gently used or new winter clothes (for dogs/cats): Coats, Rain Jackets, Sweaters
Gently used or new leashes, harnesses, and/or collars
Gently used or new toys (for dogs/cats)
*Spots are limited and sign ups are per dog. Each dog must be accompanied by a human. If you would like to participate with multiple dogs, you must sign them up separately and they each must be accompanied by a human (1:1) on the day of the walk. Dogs must be fully vaccinated at the time of the pack walk, and must remain leashed at all times during the event.
