What size dogs are your leashes made for?

Our Signature and Deluxe collections are most suitable for dogs between 10-150 lbs. This is based on the braid and diameter of the rope (3/8” Ø) we currently use and the weight of the hardware.

Our Deluxe Minis are made for small breeds. Minis are constructed of rope (5/16” Ø) and hardware that are both smaller and lighter in weight. If choosing a leash for a dog under 25 bs, and you prefer a thinner rope, we recommend one from the Deluxe Minis Collection.

Our All-Weather Sport Leashes are constructed of 1/4” Biothane® rope. and have a 500 lb break strength, making it super lightweight and strong, while being ideal for dogs of various sizes from toy breeds to large breeds up to 90 lbs.

The Littlelest Leash is the tiniest in our collection, and is perfect for small/toy breeds up to 10 lbs. Constructed of the thinnest Deluxe braided rope and finished with a quick clip, solid brass lever snap that’s lighter than a penny, your pup won’t even feel the weight!

What’s the difference between the Signature and Deluxe collections?

Both collections are made of ultra-lightweight rPET (recycled plastic) rope, but have a different feel to them. The Signature Collection is constructed from 16 strands of diamond-braided rope and has a daintier look and feel in comparison to the Deluxe Collection which is constructed from a finely braided 48 strands lending it a more premium and sporty quality. Both collections are constructed from 3/8” Ø rope.

Are your leashes waterproof?

The rope we use is weather resistant and water repellant. This makes them quick-drying and rot-proof, but we don’t recommend submerging them under water for extended periods of time.

Caring for your JAK + PHIL leash:

We recommend rinsing in a basin with gentle soap and cold water, and allowing your leash to air dry.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

At this time we are only shipping to addresses in the United States, but will offer an international option in the near future.
