DogFest is a celebration of dogs, families, community, and spring in San Francisco. It’s also a charitable event that raises funds for McKinley Elementary – a small public school in the neighborhood.

SPARK Social SF will once again be teaming up with Friends of SF Animal Care & Control during their annual Paws for a Cause fundraiser at San Francisco Animal Care & Control.

Paws for a Cause is a beloved annual fundraiser that brings together animal lovers from across San Francisco to support the lifesaving work of SFACC. This family- and dog-friendly event features delicious food trucks, pet-friendly activities, and a photo booth — all in support of animals in need.

💗 Grab your puppy love and celebrate the paw-fect Valentine’s at SPARK. 🏹 Cupid’s Bow is ready with pet-centric vendors to pamper your furry friend, Valentine’s activities everyone (pup included) will “dig,” and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Don’t miss San Francisco’s Love at First Bark, our Valentine-themed costume contest where pups are encouraged to dress as Cupid, a heart, or anything that represents love— because the cuter the costume, the sweeter the competition.🏆

​Dogs Only Social Club x JAK + PHIL
Led by Canine School of Behavior | Benefiting Pup Culture Rescue

​Join us on Friday, December 12 from 3–5pm at the Rose Bowl for our final pack walk of the year, Home for the Holidays! This festive walk brings together the Dogs Only Social Club community, JAK + PHIL, and the expert trainers from Canine School of Behavior leading a structured, confidence-building group training walk for pups of all sizes and experience levels.

​This month’s walk is a fundraiser for Pup Culture Rescue, the organization where one of our community members adopted her pup, Wade (the adorable pup on our flyer!). We will have adoptable dogs from Pup Culture Rescue joining us on the trail, so we can hopefully find them a home for the holidays!

​To add to the fun, holiday sweaters for both pups and humans are welcome (totally optional!). Feel free to bring some seasonal cheer to the trail.

​100% of donations from this walk will go directly toward helping more dogs from Pup Culture Rescue like Wade find safe, loving homes.

Grab your furry (or fluffy!) friends and bundle up in your best holiday sweaters for a day full of tail-wagging fun and festive cheer!

Join us in Hayes Valley on Saturday, December 6th, from 11-4PM, to shop from local makers and small businesses this season and give the gift of something extra special to your favorite fur babies!🎁

There will be donation bins for Toys for Tots, the local food bank, and Project Open Paw. The following items will be accepted:

🧸 New and unwrapped toys for children
🥫 Unopened and unexpired shelf-stable foods for humans
🐶 Unopened and unexpired cat/dog food and treats. New/gently used: used collars/leashes/harnesses, pet coats/rain jackets, and toys.

It’s the season of giving thanks, and this year we want to honor that by Paying It Forward. We are partnering up with Project Open Paw to raise funds and collect donations for the unhoused good boys and girls of San Francisco.

Want to bring together a pack of your favorite floofs? 🐕‍🦺🐕 Email us your pup’s breed and preferred meet-up time—we’ll help spread the word so your furry friends can make new buddies!

Pet Parade 12-2,followed by the Hayes Valley JAZZ JAM. 2-4 pm. Proceeds benefit MUTTVILLE and HVAW.  Plus more halloween fun by HV Merchants and petcentric vendros.

Celebrate Halloween with your pups and neighbors at The Glade Dog Park. Enjoy an evening of live music, seasonal bites, refreshing brews, and a Howl-o-ween costume contest you won’t forget.

Celebrate spooky season at The Pug Hotel’s annual Pug-O-Ween event. Get those costumes ready—for you and your pugs—and join us in supporting not one, not two, but three pug rescues at once! Bay Area Pug Project and Pug Rescue of Northern California will be joining the festivities.

Enjoy food for purchase, fun contests, raffles, unique vendors, and plenty of pug-centered festivities. Your well-behaved pug is welcome to join! Dogs are allowed to be off-leash for this indoor event.
